One-on-One Tech Help @ EPL

Book some one-on-one time with friendly EPL staff to receive assistance and instruction on topics such as computer basics, the internet, email, word processing and social networking services like Facebook and Twitter. Learn how to access and play with EPL’s fabulous eCollection including eBooks, eReaders, audiobooks, databases and library catalogue. You’re welcome to bring your own device. We would love to meet with you to help you with any of these topics.

Go-Go Gadget Help

Did you get a new gizmo or gadget? An eReader, tablet, camera, laptop or phone? Bring in your new gadget and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere where you can explore with library staff and other participants. Library staff will be on hand to help you download library eBooks and eAudiobooks and solve other puzzles.

City Recreational Classes for Older Adults

Terwillegar Recreational Centre

A number of recreational classes are offered especially for seniors, including Zumba Gold and Pickleball.  A Seniors Lounge is available to members Monday and Wednesday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm.  CLICK HERE for more information.

William Lutsky Family YMCA

A number of recreational classes are offered especially for seniors, including Zumba Gold and Active Older Adult exercise classes. CLICK HERE for more information.

Southgate Mall Walking and Tai Chi Group

Walk for fitness in a climate controlled safe environment.  No registration fee.  Register at the Guest Services Centre.  The mall is open for walkers Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm; Saturday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Visit Centre Court Monday to Friday, starting at 8:30 am to join a class that is led by an experienced Tai Chi teacher.  For more information about both of these groups, contact Guest Services at 780 435 3721 or email info@southgatecentre.com
